One thing I can say with absolute certainty ... the days with my host family were UNIQUE! I had an immense fortune with the promise of Petraglia. The warmth, part wall and openness with which I was received was outstanding especially Petraglia and accordingly she brings a high level of professionalism and competence. Thank you, dear Homestay team, that give the change to make such experience.

Maria is an EXCEPTIONAL host. From her communication before our arrival, to recommendations on what to do and where to go in El Calafate, to our stay while in her home. We enjoyed our time with her and his husband Ruben. Her home is 10 mn walking to take the bus for Perito Moreno excursion. Breakfast and dinner were amazing. Thanks Maria and Ruben! Hopefully we will come back and stay with you again!

I would really recommend people to stay with Maria and Ruben.
The place felt luxurious, is clean and they are really nice. The guest space is actually in their house, but they manage to give you enough privacy. They have the possibility to join with lunch and dinner, which i did and the food was good and adjusted to what i liked.
Maria is good at helping with finding the right excursions. And brought me with her car to places in town, if i wantend to.
So overall a very good experience.

I had the most amazing experience with Maria and Ruben they are warm and receptive and helpful and delightful, She is one of the sweetest person i have ever met I can't say enough good things about them.. Maria will help with directions and suggestions to anyplace you need or want to go.. The home is very clean and neat, with a private bathroom and a beautiful loft. I highly recommend taking advantage of the opportunity to stay here!

WARRIS from England!
My experiences with Airbnb just get better and better.I so enjoyed staying with Maria and her husband. The house it utterly charming and is a 25 min walk from town, you'll see the rugged Patagonian landscape on your stroll into town. Breakfast was great, I was included in meals whenever I was around.Maria also helped me arrange all the best activities. She seems to know a lot of people in the business! A great experience, even if they had to tolerate my Spanglish.
Oh they have kittens too.

I had an excellent experience at "Kiritina." I traveled to El Calafate three separate trips and chose to stay at Maria's house every time. Her home is lovely and she is a wonderful host. She was extremely helpful in guiding me and friends to great restaurants and always willing to help us out for excursions in the area.
The bedroom is spacious and the playroom is an excellent place to relax and enjoy mate. If traveling to El Calafate I highly recommend staying with Maria.

A very warm and friendly stay at Maria's place. The house is great and quiet, and privacy is preserved for all.
Maria and Rubens are great hosts, providing all the necessary assistance (advice, pick-up, driving to tour agencies, etc).
Communication was in spanish but Maria do speak perfectly english, for those who need.
I enjoyed taking my dinner with them, nice food and great discussions.
And Rubens is the best asador in town !!!! Excellent food and wine....
For sure, i recommend the place and i will be back there for my next trip to El Calafate.
